There are festivals, and then there’s Tomorrowland — a place where music, magic, and global unity collide in the heart of Belgium. In July 2025, I had the chance to experience it all firsthand, with it being my ninth time attending the festival I made the decision to stay in the legendary DreamVille. From padel matches to pyrotechnics, this was more than a trip — it was a transformation.
DreamVille: Where the Adventure Begins
If Tomorrowland is the main event, DreamVille is the heartbeat that keeps it alive. Nestled just outside Boom, DreamVille is a temporary city built for the People of Tomorrow. Staying in DreamVille is like stepping into a parallel universe where strangers become family and every morning feels like the start of a new quest. I pitched my tent in the Magnificent Greens section, making it feel like I was part of something bigger before the music even started. But what surprised me most wasn’t the convenience — it was the atmosphere. DreamVille buzzed with energy, laughter, and anticipation. It felt like a village of dreamers, all gearing up for something extraordinary.
DreamVille offered:
– Yoga & Wellness Sessions: Start your day with breathwork and stretching
– Table Tennis, Tennis and Padel courts: Play different party goers from around the world
– Food Markets: From Belgian waffles to vegan bowls, the options were endless
– Pop-Up Shops: Grab festival gear, glitter, and last-minute essentials
– The Gathering Party: An exclusive Thursday night kick-off just for DreamVille residents — DJs, lights, and a crowd that already felt like family
It was the perfect way to ease into the madness of the main festival while soaking up the community spirit. The Gathering Party on Thursday night kicked things off with a bang — a private pre-party for DreamVille residents that felt like a secret club of insiders. The vibe? Euphoric.

The Main Stage: Rebuilt and Reborn
When the gates to Tomorrowland opened, it felt like stepping into another dimension. This year’s theme, “Orbyz,” was all about global harmony through sound. But just days before opening, disaster struck — a fire destroyed the original main stage. In true Tomorrowland fashion, the organisers pulled off a miracle, rebuilding the stage using gear from Metallica’s tour. The result? A phoenix-like spectacle that rose from the ashes and lit up the sky.
But what truly defined Tomorrowland 2025 wasn’t just the visuals — it was the unity of the crowd. I danced, if you could call it that, alongside people from Brazil, Japan, South Africa, and beyond. There was no ego, no judgement — just people enjoying the music.
My Favourite Sets
Nine Tomorrowlands deep, and I’m still raving like it’s my first time sneaking past the barriers at Creamfields. I’ve seen more DJ’s than your nans seen episodes of Corrie, and trust me, 2025 didn’t disappoint. Below are the sets that I enjoyed most:
– Swedish House Mafia on the main stage was an absolute highlight. Their set was cinematic, emotional for some, and euphoric — the kind of performance that makes you forget everything except the moment.
– Third Party brought melodic energy that had the crowd in sync from start to finish.
– Martin Garrix delivered his signature high-octane show, complete with lasers, drops, and crowd-wide singalongs.
– Kölsch offered a deeper, more introspective vibe — perfect for sunset listening and soul-searching.
Each set was a chapter in a story I didn’t want to end.

Tomorrowland isn’t just a festival — it’s a philosophy. From the sustainability efforts (like RFID-enabled smart cups) to the mindfulness zones led by Sadhguru, the event blended celebration with consciousness. It reminded me that music can lift more than just spirits and bring people together.
Final Thoughts
As I packed up my tent and said goodbye to DreamVille, I felt a mix of exhaustion and elation. Tomorrowland 2025 gave me memories I’ll carry forever — padel matches with strangers, sunrise meditations for the wife, and dancefloor moments that felt like magic.
If you ever get the chance to go, don’t just attend — live it. Stay in DreamVille. Play padel. Talk to strangers. Dance like the world is watching — and cheering you on.
